About

About Power View.

We buy it. We own it. We restore it. We redeploy it.

The firm

Built to solve a constraint the market has not.

Power View was formed to solve a problem visible from the development side of the business: projects with land, capital, and committed demand, waiting years on a production slot for equipment that already exists somewhere else. The market had intermediaries to point at that equipment. It did not have principals willing to buy it, own it, and stand behind it.

We buy as principal through single-purpose entities, on escrowed terms, without a financing contingency — and we take title. We work directly with asset owners rather than through a chain of intermediaries, and we carry the equipment on our own books through inspection, refurbishment, and logistics to the receiving site rather than handing it off at the plant gate.

The standard we hold to on both sides of a trade is the same: condition is established before anyone commits, information stays with the party it belongs to, and what we say about a package is what the records support.

    Evan Z. Livingston

    Chief Executive Officer

Evan leads Power View, where he is responsible for acquisitions, capital, and the firm’s relationships with asset owners and end users of power generation equipment.

He is also President of The Livingston Group, LLC, which he has led since 2021 and where he built out an industrial and data center development division. That is where the constraint Power View exists to address first became visible from the inside: projects with land, capital, and committed demand, held up by a queue for generating equipment.

He previously worked in acquisitions and development at Montage International, underwriting and managing transactions across domestic and international markets, and holds a degree from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration with a concentration in real estate.

Where equipment and demand sit

We work cross-border.

Equipment is stranded where projects were canceled and plants retired. Demand sits somewhere else. We are set up to move packages across borders — rigging, transport, customs, export documentation, and lay-up are part of the work rather than an exception to it, and counterparties and destinations are screened for sanctions and export-control exposure before we commit.
