How we work.
A defined path from first conversation to first fire.
- 01
Source
Direct relationships with plant owners, IPPs, decommissioning firms, receivers, and developers. The packages worth pursuing are usually the ones that were never publicly marketed.
- 02
Establish condition
Records first — fired and factored hours and starts since the last combustion, hot gas path, and major inspection, or EOH where the OEM counts that way; rotor life against the limit; TIL and service bulletin status; on aeroderivatives, cycles and life-limited parts with back-to-birth traceability; lay-up history since shutdown. Then a physical walkdown, borescope, and a run-and-witness where the unit is still operable.
- 03
Acquire
We purchase as principal through a dedicated acquisition entity funded at signing, and take title. Our offers are not conditioned on obtaining financing.
- 04
Remove and preserve
Disassembly and rigging run under our contract, and the equipment is preserved for transit to a written procedure — sealed against moisture and corrosion, and documented as it leaves the site. Preservation is where redeployable equipment is most often quietly lost, so we treat it as part of the acquisition rather than as an afterthought at the plant gate.
- 05
Refurbish
Restoration runs through shops we have qualified in the specific class — including OEM-authorized shops where the scope calls for it — against a written scope of work, with the acceptance standard fixed before work starts rather than negotiated once the casing is open. The scope and the completed work are documented, and that record travels with the machine. Aeroderivative gas generators and power turbines are test-cell run before shipment where the scope calls for it; frame machines are validated on component inspection and assembly records, with first fire at the receiving site.
- 06
Deliver
Heavy haul, ocean freight, customs, and delivery to site against your first-fire date. We supply equipment and technical field support through first fire. Installation and commissioning remain within the EPC scope.
One counterparty from acquisition through delivery.
What you tell us stays with us.
We do not shop your equipment, disclose that you are selling, or use what we learn about a package to approach the parties behind it. A sale process that becomes public before the seller is ready costs the seller money, and we treat preventing that as our job. Package information reaches our own engineers, shops, hauliers, insurers, and advisors under confidentiality obligations, and otherwise only where the law requires it. If a transaction does not proceed, your records are returned or destroyed.
If you would rather have an NDA in place before sending anything further, say so and we will put a mutual one in front of you the same day, and we will sign a non-circumvention covering the parties and the package introduced in your process. What we will not sign is an open-ended lockout on the market itself — an agreement barring us from transacting in equipment classes, or with counterparties, we already work in every day.
Condition governs.
Records, rotor life, hours and starts since the last major, and a physical walkdown. No package moves on a description alone.
Funded and documented.
Each acquisition runs through a dedicated entity, funded and documented at signing, with the deposit held in escrow. Our offers are not conditioned on obtaining financing.
Warranted.
A written warranty against the refurbishment scope. Terms are established per package — against condition, the scope of work performed, and the warranting party — and are documented in the definitive purchase agreement.
