Equipment

Equipment classes.

We transact across the installed base of industrial and aeroderivative gas turbines, reciprocating engine packages, and associated balance of plant.

We do not publish inventory. Available packages, condition, and pricing are shared directly with qualified counterparties.

Aeroderivative

Fast-start, high simple-cycle efficiency, and the most genuinely redeployable machines in the installed base. What a campus buys when the interconnection date will not hold.

  • Aeroderivative

    GE LM6000 (PC / PF / PF+ / SPRINT)

    50 or 60 Hz

High simple-cycle efficiency, ten-minute start to full load, and load-following capability. The default choice where the interconnection has slipped and the campus needs firm capacity ahead of backfeed. Variant matters — a PC and a PF are different machines to a permitting team.

  • Aeroderivative

    GE LM2500 (base / + / +G4)

    50 or 60 Hz

Fast-start, high availability, modular, and among the most genuinely redeployable machines in the installed base. Deep industrial and marine fleet, and the aftermarket to support it.

  • Aeroderivative

    Siemens SGT-A35 / SGT-A65

    50 or 60 Hz

Industrial RB211 and Trent 60 packages. Core aeroderivative inventory alongside the LM fleet, with a live parts and repair market.

Mobile and trailer-mounted

Capacity that arrives on wheels and can leave the same way when utility service finally lands.

  • Trailer-mounted

    Mobile aeroderivative packages

    50 or 60 Hz

GE TM2500 and comparable trailer-mounted units. Minimal civil works, weeks rather than quarters to first fire, and relocatable when the utility service date finally arrives. The workhorse of real bridge power.

Industrial, 5–22 MW

Packaged industrial machines at the granularity a phased campus buildout actually orders in — large installed base, well-supported aftermarket.

  • Industrial gas turbine

Solar Taurus / Titan / Mars

    50 or 60 Hz

The dominant fleet in the 5–22 MW behind-the-meter industrial band, and the right granularity for a phased campus buildout. Large secondary market, well-supported aftermarket.

Reciprocating engines

Engine-based capacity, where granularity and block-load response matter more than peak simple-cycle heat rate.

  • Reciprocating

    Reciprocating engine packages

    50 or 60 Hz

Wärtsilä 34SG-class gas engines, Caterpillar 3516 / C175 and mtu Series 4000 diesel gensets, and comparable platforms. Modular, excellent part-load heat rate, strong block-load acceptance, and N+1 granularity without stranding capacity.

Industrial frame

Utility and industrial-scale machines out of retiring and canceled plants. We are candid about which of these are economic to relocate and which are not.

  • Industrial frame

    GE Frame 5 (5P / 5D)

    50 or 60 Hz

Among the most-traded used gas turbines in the world. Simple, forgiving, widely understood, and economic to relocate into industrial captive service.

  • Industrial frame

    GE Frame 6B

    50 or 60 Hz

Load-geared, and offered in both 50 and 60 Hz — the load gear and generator set the frequency, so changing it means new ones. One of the most tradeable frame machines in the market, with a live aftermarket and a long record in cogeneration and industrial captive power.

  • Industrial frame

    GE Frame 7EA

    60 Hz

The E-class machine that actually moves. Deep parts and third-party repair support, well-understood rotor life limits, and a long redeployment record.

  • Industrial frame

    GE 7F (.03 / .04 / .05)

    60 Hz

Relocates far less freely than the E-class: units are often married to a matched HRSG and steam turbine, the DLN 2.6 combustion system is tightly held, and the generational splits are not parts-interchangeable. We transact in them, but we are candid about which ones are economic to move.

  • Industrial frame

    Siemens / Westinghouse 501 (D5 / D5A / F)

    60 Hz

The D5 and D5A have a long and genuine second-life record. The F-class is a different commercial proposition and relocates far less often. Treat them as separate machines, because they are.

  • Industrial frame

    Siemens V94 series

    50 Hz

Large machines with an installed base concentrated in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. The V84 is the 60 Hz sibling — a different machine, not a conversion.

  • Industrial frame

    Alstom / Ansaldo GT26

    50 Hz

Large frame with sequential reheat combustion. New-unit technology and OEM parts IP passed to Ansaldo Energia in the GE/Alstom divestiture; GE retained service on most of the legacy installed base. The GT24 is the 60 Hz version.

Electrical and balance of plant

Frequently the real constraint on a schedule — the transformer, the switchgear, or the control system rather than the turbine.

  • Long-lead electrical

Generator step-up transformers and MV switchgear

    50 or 60 Hz

Frequently the hardest long-lead item on a campus — harder than the turbine. A tested GSU of the right rating and impedance, with matching switchgear and protection, can be the difference between energizing on schedule and waiting on a transformer queue.

  • Balance of plant

Steam turbines and balance of plant

Steam turbines out of retiring combined-cycle stations, plus generators, exciters and load gears, fuel gas compression, SCR and CO catalyst, transformers, switchgear, and control systems — including migration off obsolete platforms (Mark V, Teleperm, WDPF). Controls are frequently the real constraint on a redeployment schedule.

How output is quoted

Output is quoted new and clean at ISO conditions, again at your site conditions, and — where a recent performance test exists — as tested, with the correction basis and losses stated. Condition, hours, and availability are specific to each package and are discussed directly rather than published.

50 Hz and 60 Hz

We do not offer 50 Hz frame machines into 60 Hz service. A 9E is not a 7EA and a V94 is not a V84 — those are different machines, not conversions. Aeroderivative and load-geared frame packages are a different question, and we will tell you which is which.
